Let's see how physical health and mental health are connected to each other. 


  • What is Physical Health? 

Physical fitness , exercise, nutrition, rest & Ability to perform daily activities.

 

  • What is Mental health? 

Emotional, psychological & social well-being. The way we think, act and behave. The way we handle our emotions in daily life & learn to manage them well. 

Physical health and Mental health are interconnected. Physical health affects mental health and mental health affects physical. 

Just as we pay attention to physical health, it is equally important to pay attention to mental health. We should maintain both. Most of the time we tend to ignore mental health. Or some people are still not aware of mental health. Our mental health is very important. If we are strong in mind we can fight any disease. 


  • How Physical health affects mental health? 

Physical diseases like heart disease, diabetes cancer, hormonal imbalance etc. & When we know that we have this kind of disease, we feel so exhausted. We are not ready to accept it and then we feel sad, we fear, we feel worried, we feel depressed. Feeling angry, irritable, depressed. Such feelings arise which means that it affects our mental health. And this is what causes stress, anxiety, depression, fear & trauma or other mental health disorders. 


  • How Mental health affects physical health? 

Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Phobia, Trauma, Fear and other mental health disorders. It affects on body functions. sleep problems, eating habits, body ache, blood pressure, heart related disorders, digestive system, respiratory system, immune system or other physical disorders. 

So good mental health can give you a healthy life. It keep you healthy and help to prevent serious health conditions. Good mental health leads to good physical health. 


  • Ways to maintain your Mental and Physical Health- 

1) Exercise- 

Exercise release our happy hormones. & reduces negative thoughts. 

2) Nutrition- 

Balance diet keeps us healthy and fix our hormonal imbalance. 

3) Sleep- 

Sleep reduces stress & improve 

our mood and help you to think clearly & lower our risk for serious health problems. 

4) Relationships- 

Healthy Relationship Family, Friends, Relatives their love, care and support keeps you healthy. 

5) Focus on positivity- 

Positively helps you to feel good , focus on life goal and good life decisions. 

6) Do the things you love. 

Develop your hobbies.. it helps to feel positive. 

7) Relaxation - 

Do meditation, yoga, mindfulness meditation techniques. That helps you to reduce negative thoughts, fix your hormones. 

8) Practice Gratitude- 

When you grateful for all the little things in your life. It make you happy, wellbeing and life satisfaction. 

9) Self love- 

Practicing self love makes you happy & help to encourage & support to yourself. 

10) Stay organized - 

Get organized. You feel less stressed.
